A quiet word from the Library Dragon

The Reporoa College Library is open all day including most intervals and lunchtimes but is not always a quiet space at break times with a lot of socialising, games and sometimes a bit of reading!
The collection is divided into general fiction, senior fiction and non
-fiction, with students needing to be year 10 and older to access the senior fiction section.

Junior students are able to borrow two books at a time for two weeks, and senior students four books for four weeks. I love getting recommendations from students for authors or books.

New Teachers in Paeroa 2020

Whaea Kim Larkins
We welcome Kim to our Junior school. A local lady from Broadlands Rd, she has taught at Broadlands School, Taupo Intermediate relieving and Monrad Intermediate in Palmerston North to name a few! She is enthusiastic, motivated and super excited to get to know our students.

Ms Deborah Wall
Fresh from the Cook Islands, Debbie has been teaching the NZ Curriculum there for the last three years. She is really looking forward to her Samoan partner joining her on her home soil as she has taken up residence back in her home town of Rotorua. Debbie is largely teaching English this year.

Matua Wiremu Panapa
Matua is a fresh face in our PE department for 2020 who has introduced himself at our Powhiri. His last stint was at Murupara School and we now look forward to him bringing strong vocal support to our Paeroa team on sports days.
