International Student Fees and Related Costs

Tuition:      $10,500.00

This covers - $500 Administration Charge, normal school tuition, textbooks (on loan) and Orientation programme.

Additional Costs:  These vary according to the individual programme by the student, and so are not covered by the standard tuition fee.  They may include the approximate costs of::

  • Stationary (about $60 per year)
  • Non-programmable scientific calculator for Maths, Physics etc ($40)
  • Course related trips to out of school (usually no more than $20 to $30 a year)
  • School camp ($80 to $400 depending on the year level)
  • Special courses e.g. IELTS ($300)
  • Entry fees to external examinations and awards e.g. ($375 for 6 subjects)
  • Subject fees where materials and equipment are supplied e.g. Art/Photography ($50 to $300), Science subjects ($20 to $50), Physical Education ($20 to $50).
Uniform: All students; about $400 for girls, slightly less for boys. (Can be purchased at College).

Homestay: Placement Fee NZ $250.00
                   Weekly Board NZ $180.00

Placement fee includes cost of meeting the student at the nearest airport, transporting to the Homestay, assisting in opening bank accounts etc.  Board payments cover cost of Homestay supervision, a fully furnished room, all meals and laundry.

Airport Transfers to Nearest Airport:  Approximately $300.00

Medical and Travel Insurance:  Reporoa College is a Master Policy holder through Uni-Care , the cost per  annum is approximately $418.00
